Maintenance and support

Software that keeps working, long after launch day.

Monitoring, fixes, security updates and steady improvements for the systems your business can't do without, whether we built them or inherited them from a vendor who moved on. One monthly fee, a named engineer and response times in writing.

Every month

Most of the work happens before anything breaks.

  • Monitoring

Uptime, errors, slow pages and failed jobs watched around the clock, so we hear about problems before your customers do.

  • Security updates

Server, framework and library patches applied on a schedule, and urgent ones within days.

  • Tested backups

Daily backups kept off-site, with a full restore tested every quarter.

  • Fixes and improvements

Bugs fixed, plus hours every month for the small changes your team asks for.

Inherited a system?

Software someone else built, looked after properly.

The vendor moved on, the developer left, or nobody is quite sure how it works any more. We take over systems we did not build, starting with a fixed-price review.

  1. Review

We read the code, hosting and security set-up, and tell you plainly what is risky, what is fine and what it costs to keep running.

  2. Stabilize

Backups, monitoring and urgent security fixes come first, so the system stops depending on luck.

  3. Document and maintain

We write down how it works as we go, then look after it on a monthly plan like any system we built.
